Agriculture is facing globally and especially in the Arab and African regions too many issues and challenges such as climate change, water crises and shortages with a heavy negative impact on food safety & security in the two regions in spite of having/owning many enablers to reach the sustainable agricultural development.
Within the scope of the initiative of HE/Omar Al-Bashir - President of Sudan to the Arab leaders about the "Arab Food Security" and being part of the global efforts towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs-2030), AICTO and AOAD are launching the initiative: "Smart Agriculture Forum" (ISAF) to be a platform gathering all potential stakeholders within the Arab and African regions and the rest of the world for an open and constructive debate.

The Arab ICT Organization (AICTO), is an Arab governmental organization working under the aegis of the League of Arab States
AICTO foundation resulted from the will of the Arab States which agreed to have its headquarters in the city of Tunis, the capital of the Republic of Tunisia, with the possibility of having branches in Arab countries. AOAD is one of the specialized Arab organizations, functioning under the umbrella of the League of Arab States. As such, its members are all the member states of the Arab League.
